Living in Central Texas means we have some crazy hot summers but winter is still cold enough to easily kill any potted plants that don’t have protection from the cold.

Last year, my parents got a pop-up greenhouse that was so easy to set up. Not only did they not have to cover the plants for every freeze, but their plants loved the greenhouse. Their leaves looked so lush and green when it was time to pull them out in this spring.

This year, I got the same portable greenhouse. I was amazed at how easy it was to set up!

I got all my plants inside, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much light it let in through the roof and sides.

And in the spring, it easily folds up in its carrying case! I’m so excited about enjoying the plants in my greenhouse this winter, and I wanted to share them with you!

How to Assemble Your Portable Greenhouse

Step 1: Open the Metal Greenhouse Frame

Assembling the greenhouse couldn’t have been easier. We simply pulled the metal frame out of the box and expanded it to its full width but about half the height.

Step 2: AdD the Cover To Your Pop Up Greenhouse

While the frame was still half the finished height, we threw the cover over the top and pulled down the sides to the deck.

Step 3: Raise the Portable Greenhouse to It’s Full Height

Last, we got underneither the greenhouse and raised the frame to the full height. It snapped in place.

It can be easily screwed to a deck but I just put a brick on each leg plate to keep it in place in case of high winds.

After getting it set up, I started placing plants inside and trimmed them to give me plenty of space.

I’m so happy about how it turned out and bought this portable heater: Portable Greenhouse Heater

I’m excited about having a nice place to “visit” my plants during the winter as opposed to our garage. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below, and I’ll be sure to answer them.

Blessings,

Karin
